Danfoss Waltech EGESD Series Straight Connector

Danfoss Waltech® adjustable straight male connector — EGESD Series. A high-engineering component for 100% leak-free couplings and transitions between metric steel tubing and the ports of valve blocks, cylinders and manifolds in hydraulic fluid systems.

Supplied as a factory-assembled complete kit, ready to install: adjustable connector body with pre-fitted seals, a metric retaining nut, and a precision cutting ring (ferrule) that grips the tube firmly and forms a permanent seal. Its orientable design lets you position the line at the exact angle the installation requires.

The structural steel body is protected with the Guardian Seal coating, rated for over 1,000 hours against red rust (also available in stainless steel in selected sizes).

Available thread types:

• BSPP (European thread, DIN-ISO 228): parallel thread with a soft green elastomer bonded seal (WD) that absorbs micro-vibration and prevents torque loss.
• NPT (American thread, ANSI/ASME B1.20.1): tapered thread that seals by metal-to-metal mechanical interference when tightened.
